| WHO CAN JOIN? |
| Boy's and Girls between the ages of 14 - 21 |

| HOW DO I JOIN? |
Post meetings are held on the second and fouth Monday nights. Contact Gene Rains
at 236-5598 for next meeting date. |

| HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? |
| There is a $10 registration fee due when you fill out your application. |

| WHAT ACTIVITIES WILL WE BE DOING? |
That depends on you! As an Explorer you decide what aspects of fire fighting you
would like to experience.
Possible activities include:
Learn about CPR & First Aid
Participate in a Firefighter 1 Course
Work with the Jaws of Life
Assist with fire prevention education
Learn how to use ropes, ladders, and building ventilation
Participate in a simulated burn at the KVFD training site burn room
Lot's of hands-on activities and training

| The Fire Explorer's obtain all of their own funding through donations, fund-raisers, and work details. These funds are used to purchase uniform polo shirts, work T-shirts, protective fire gear, equipment, and supplies. |
